Iran has launched coordinated attacks on Gulf nations, including the United Arab Emirates, striking ports, oil infrastructure, military bases, and residential areas. Missile and drone strikes disrupted oil exports and caused casualties, with one death reported in Abu Dhabi.
U.S. President Donald Trump described the attacks as “a surprise” and unexpected, though regional and Western officials had previously warned of possible retaliation if Iran faced strikes. The conflict has sharply escalated tensions across the Gulf.
